Yes. The Starter plan is free permanently — not a trial. There's no card required and no expiry. You can optionally upgrade to Verified later for extra visibility, but it's never required to appear in the directory.

Most listings are reviewed within 1–2 business days. We check that the business is real and operating before approving it, which is why listings aren't published instantly.

Your listing is set to 'Pending' status while our team verifies the details. Once approved, it goes live in the directory and becomes searchable by category and keyword. You'll be able to manage it from your dashboard at any time.

Yes. Sign in to your account and update your business details, photos, services, or contact information at any time from your dashboard.

Starter (free) gives you a full listing with unlimited enquiries. Verified (₹1,999/year) adds a verified badge, priority placement in your category, homepage features, and analytics. Custom is for businesses with multiple branches or locations and is priced individually — contact us for details.

The Starter and Verified plans are built for a single location. If you operate multiple branches around Vizhinjam or elsewhere, the Custom plan lets you manage them under one account — reach out via our contact page.

Use the Directory page and either search by name/keyword or filter by category — for example, "Logistics & Freight" or "Ship Agency." Each result shows the business's location, services, and a way to contact them directly.

Open the business's listing page and use the enquiry form in the sidebar, or use the phone number, email, or website listed directly on their profile. Enquiries go straight to the business — PortConnect doesn't act as a middleman.

Every listing, free or paid, is manually reviewed before it goes live. Businesses on the Verified plan carry an additional verified badge, but all published listings have passed our basic review.

Our 10 categories cover most port-related trades, but if you can't find what you need, use the search bar with a keyword, or contact us directly and we'll try to point you to a suitable business.

Please let us know through the contact page with the business name and what looks wrong. We'll reach out to the business to get it corrected.

No — browsing, searching, and sending an enquiry are all open to anyone. An account is only needed if you want to save businesses to a favourites list or manage your own business listing.
